Russia has lost control of its oil refining industry as a result of the war against Ukraine, since a significant number of its facilities have been put out of commission. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to him, due to the attacks, a large number of Russian oil refineries have been damaged and have, at least temporarily, ceased operations. Trump called for an end to the “senseless and endless” war, emphasizing that the entire world is suffering as a result and that about 25,000 people, mostly military personnel, are dying in combat every month.

Meanwhile, Zelenskyy outlined a condition for halting strikes on Russian oil refineries.
Earlier, Trump claimed that an agreement had allegedly been reached between Ukraine and Russia not to attack energy infrastructure, but this turned out to be a figment of his imagination.
Ukraine has proposed that Russia agree to halt strikes on infrastructure, according to Zelenskyy.
