The family of Lithuanian President Nausėda topped the wealth ranking among top officials

Lithuania has released data from the latest asset declarations filed by top officials. According to the data, the family of the country’s current president, Gitanas Nausėda, declared the largest assets.

 

On June 30, the Lithuanian Tax Inspectorate released the data from the asset declarations of the country’s top officials for 2025.

According to the data, President Gitanas Nausėda and his family are the wealthiest among the country’s high-ranking officials—the total value of their assets exceeds 1 million 246 thousand euros.

In 2025, Nausėda declared residential and non-residential real estate worth 386,140 euros, land plots worth approximately 311,000 euros, a car worth 9,000 euros, and 28,233 euros in savings, as well as just over 3,000 euros in debt.  

The value of real estate registered in the name of First Lady Diana Nausedienė is approximately 323,000 euros, and that of land plots is approximately 167,000 euros. In addition, she listed works of art, jewelry, and other reportable valuables worth 12,100 euros, as well as nearly 19,000 euros in cash savings.

Seimas Speaker Juozas Olekas and his wife declared assets worth over 440 thousand euros.

The family of former Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene declared assets worth 272,000 euros, the lion’s share of which—real estate, land, securities, and other valuables—is owned by her husband. At the same time, Ruginiene herself reported only cash savings amounting to 67,500 euros, according to LRT.
