Rolex to auction four unique Daytonas for charity

As Channel NewsAsia reports, Rolex announced in Singapore a charity auction of four unique Cosmograph Daytona watches from the Four Seasons collection. The auction, to be held in partnership with Phillips, is scheduled for September 28. Proceeds from the sale of the four lots will go to the Federer Foundation and the environmental organization re:Wild.

Watches inspired by the seasons

Each of the four watches exists in only one example and is dedicated to a separate season. The Spring model is made of 18-karat white gold and features an apple-green chrysoprase dial, purple sapphires on the bezel and hour markers.

Summer is crafted from 18-karat Everose gold. The watch has a turquoise dial, ruby chronograph counters, and pink sapphires on the bezel and markers. The Autumn version has an 18-karat yellow-gold case, a yellow mookaite dial, chrysoprase counters, and green tourmalines on the bezel and hour markers.

Who will receive the proceeds

The Federer Foundation supports early and basic education for children in southern Africa and Switzerland. The organization re:Wild works to protect and restore biodiversity and natural areas around the world.
