Casar and Sanders did not disclose specific details of their proposal.
Bannon’s position and the debate in Congress
Bannon, a longtime ally of US President Donald Trump, has criticized the president’s approach to artificial intelligence oversight. On his podcast on Monday, he said that Congress should not pass laws that would prevent states from applying their own rules to the technology. According to Bannon, Americans should not become dependent on technology companies.
