An unidentified drone crashed near a German Bundeswehr air base – Bild
In Germany, east of Lake Steinhude, one kilometer from the Armed Forces air base in Wunstorf, an unidentified drone crashed. Law enforcement and emergency responders are currently conducting a large-scale search operation to recover all debris from the drone.
According to the State Criminal Police Office, the drone crashed in an unpopulated, open area, so there is no threat to the public. Investigators have been aware of the discovery since Monday, and they now plan to thoroughly analyze the recovered parts to determine the drone’s origin and its owner.
