Sweden may impose fuel rationing due to the war with Iran

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated that the government is considering the possibility of introducing fuel rationing in light of the economic consequences of the war with Iran.

This was reported by n-tv.

According to Kristersson, the conflict is already having a significant impact on the country’s economy. While the consequences were previously assessed as limited, their impact has now become significant.

At the same time, he emphasized that no decision on fuel rationing has been made yet. The government is merely preparing for such a scenario and, if necessary, will announce the relevant measures in advance.

The prime minister also warned of the risks of rising inflation and a slowdown in Sweden’s economic development due to the prolonged conflict.

Ran stated that a possible ceasefire in the war with the U.S. would only make sense if the naval blockade were lifted and Israel ceased hostilities.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Washington is not setting strict deadlines for achieving a ceasefire or resuming negotiations with Iran.

Prior to this, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Iran has repeatedly violated the ceasefire since its implementation between Washington and Tehran. According to Trump, there have been numerous incidents that cast doubt on Iran’s compliance with the ceasefire agreements.

Trumpexpressed his willingness to meet personally with Iran’s new leadership.
