Sibiga and Anita Orban agreed on a new round of consultations between Ukraine and Hungary
The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Hungary, Andriy Sibiga and Anita Orbán, held their first in-person meeting on May 22. During the talks in Helsingborg, the parties agreed to hold a second round of expert-level consultations next week to further discuss bilateral issues.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this on social media.
“First in-person meeting with Anita Orbán in Helsingborg. We summarized the results of the first round of bilateral expert consultations on national minorities, which took place this week, and agreed to hold a second round as early as next week,” Sybiga noted.

As a reminder, Ukraine and Hungary have agreedon a new round of negotiations.
Earlier, the Hungarian government commented on the massive attack by Russian drones on Zakarpattia, during which the region’s critical infrastructure was targeted. Budapest described the situation in the border region as extremely alarming and announced that urgent countermeasures were being prepared.
