Sybiga will attend the EU Council meeting in Brussels on July 13
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga will participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting, which will take place on July 13 in Brussels. During the meeting, European ministers will discuss Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as the situation of Ukrainian civilians illegally detained by Russia.
“The next meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council will take place in Brussels, chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kallas,” according to a statement from the EU Council.
It is noted that foreign ministers will discuss Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine following an informal exchange of views in the presence of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga.
One year after the launch of the Black Sea Strategic Approach, the EU Council will also review its implementation and discuss proposals for further action.
Before the meeting begins, ministers will be invited to an informal breakfast dedicated to Ukrainian civilians held captive by Russia.
