Kazakhstan has denied claims that drones were launched from its territory at the Omsk Oil Refinery
The Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected claims by some Russian experts that the drones that attacked the Omsk oil refinery were allegedly launched from within Kazakhstan.
The foreign ministry emphasized that such statements have no factual basis.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan solemnly declares that these claims are untrue and are not supported by any data or facts,” the official statement reads.
The Foreign Ministry also noted that it regards the statements by certain Russian experts as unfounded insinuations, which, in the ministry’s view, distort the traditionally friendly Kazakhstani-Russian relations.
In addition, diplomats reiterated that Kazakhstan adheres to a peaceful, balanced, and responsible foreign policy based on the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, and non-interference in the internal affairs of other states.
“We emphasize that the Republic of Kazakhstan proceeds from the premise that its territory, airspace, and infrastructure cannot be used to carry out actions directed against other states,” the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded.
