In Jerusalem, a crowd attacked police officers while they were arresting a suspect

In Jerusalem, on Bar-Ilan Street, police detained a minor suspected of attempting to break into a car. Immediately after the arrest, a crowd of about 200 people gathered around the officers and tried to free the teenager, pelting the police with rocks and other objects. 

As a result of the incident, one officer sustained minor injuries, and a police vehicle was damaged. Order has now been restored at the scene, and the detainee has been taken to the police station for identification and questioning.

The traditional Flag March took place in Jerusalem, with thousands of people participating. The procession moved toward the Old City and the Western Wall, but parts of the event were again marked by tension and clashes. Police reported the arrest of at least 13 people.

In Jerusalem, the Holy Fire descended at the Churchof the Holy Sepulcher on Holy Saturday. The ceremony traditionally takes place at the site where, according to Christian belief, Jesus Christ was buried.
