Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó claimed that Ukraine had allegedly carried out yet another attack on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline, which, he said, poses a threat to Hungary’s energy security and sovereignty.

"Ukraine is attacking the Turkish Stream gas pipeline again, and all this in a world approaching an energy crisis, and by doing so, they want to once again place Hungary under a complete energy blockade," the minister said Thursday at a political rally in Mezőkovács, Békés County.

Szijjártó was responding to a statement by Russia’s Gazprom, which said that last night the Russkaya compressor station, which supplies the Turkish Stream pipeline, was attacked by three UAVs.
