Singer Kamaliya showed what was left of her business center after the Russian attack (video)
Ukrainian singer Kamaliya showed the aftermath of a Russian strike on a business center in Kyiv that belongs to her and her ex-husband, Mohammad Zahur. The building was damaged during the Russian attack on July 6.
According to the singer, this is the fifth time the business center has been hit by Russian shelling. The blast wave shattered windows and damaged office spaces, furniture, and equipment, leaving yet another mark of war.
“This is the fifth attack on our business center since May 14. For some, this is ‘collateral damage.’ For us, it’s our hard work destroyed, pain, and yet another scar of war,” the singer captioned the video.
Incidentally, Kamaliya had previously reported that during the attack in May, the occupiers also struck her family business. At that time, the damage amounted to approximately $80 million.
In early June, the building was seriously damaged again, but fortunately, there were no casualties.
"Last time, our air conditioning chillers and the transformer substation survived. This time, we weren’t so lucky. Our first priority now is to get the transformer up and running. But given the severity of the damage and the power company’s heavy workload, it won’t be easy—even if we manage to find all the necessary replacement parts,” the star wrote.
Kamaliya shared the harrowing footage on her Instagram.
More than 350 Kyiv residents reported property damage following the Russian attack.
As a result of the massive Russian attack on the night of July 2, public transportation routes in Kyiv have been altered. This was caused by damage to the overhead contact system, a power outage, and cleanup efforts following the enemy shelling.
