The U.S. is prepared to ease its demands regarding Iran's nuclear program

The United States may make further concessions to Iran during negotiations on its nuclear program and temporarily ease oil sanctions.

This was reported by The Times of Israel. Washington has shown flexibility regarding the possibility of Iran continuing limited peaceful nuclear activities under IAEA supervision, and is also prepared to temporarily freeze sanctions against Iranian oil for the duration of the negotiations through special licenses from the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Tehran had previously conveyed a new 14-point proposal to Washington via Pakistan, focusing on ending the war, opening the Strait of Hormuz, and lifting maritime sanctions. At the same time, the parties have decided to postpone discussions on the nuclear program and uranium enrichment to later stages of the dialogue, as these issues remain the main obstacle to a potential new agreement. Negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, mediated by third countries, have been ongoing for over a month without a final agreement being reached.

Through diplomatic intermediaries from Pakistan, official Tehran has conveyed to the United States a revised proposal for resolving the military conflict in the Middle East. A Pakistani source in government circles confirmed the delivery of the document, emphasizing the critical lack of time for decision-making and the constant changes in conditions by both sides of the process.

The U.S. has demanded that Iran hand over enriched uranium.
