StarTimes to air fourth season of Hello Mr Right in Nigeria
In Nigeria, StarTimes is preparing to air the fourth season of the dating reality show Hello Mr Right. The hosts will again be TV presenter Bukumi Adeaga-Ilori, known as KieKie, and reality show participant Nelson Enwerem, who goes by the name Prince Nelson, Premium Times Nigeria reports.
KieKie will host the program for the third consecutive season, while Prince Nelson returns as co-host for the second time. The audition episode of the new season will air on September 26 on ST Nollywood Plus, with a repeat scheduled for October 1. The main season starts on October 3.
New The Switch format
The fourth season will introduce The Switch format, which changes the program’s traditional structure. Previously, 12 women competed for the attention of one man, but now 12 men will compete for one female participant. The woman will make the decision regarding a potential partner in this part of the format.

Series director Jide Ali also announced a segment involving artificial intelligence. The system will analyze participants’ profiles and suggest potential matches based on its own assessment of compatibility.
Participants of different ages and professions
Producer Rotimi Babalogbon said that casting was expanded to attract people from different professions, age groups, backgrounds and body types. According to him, at least two couples formed during filming may continue their relationships after the program.
KieKie emphasized that technological changes will not replace participants’ sincerity, as honesty and authenticity are important for lasting relationships. StarTimes marketing director Oke Umurhokhwo said the show should reflect the experience of dating and finding a partner from a distinctly Nigerian perspective. The new season also includes social media activity and audience engagement in discussions of the program.
