Satellites have detected activity at Iran's nuclear facilities — CNN
Iran has apparently begun to restore part of its nuclear infrastructure that was damaged during U.S. strikes. This is evidenced by new satellite images analyzed by CNN.
Journalists noted activity at several sites simultaneously. In their view, this work may indicate the restoration of damaged facilities and raise new questions about Tehran’s compliance with its international obligations.
Satellite images have shown signs of active work at several Iranian nuclear sites. These are areas that previously sustained serious damage during U.S. strikes. One such site is the facility in the village of Parchin, near Tehran. It was one of the main targets during the U.S. military campaign and, according to journalists, sustained extensive damage.
Another site where satellites detected changes is the so-called “Pixax Mountain.” The released images show new activity that may indicate construction or restoration work. CNN notes that there is no official confirmation of the nature of this work yet. At the same time, experts who analyzed the satellite photos believe that Iran may have begun rebuilding damaged infrastructure.

Journalists also point out that such activity may contradict previous agreements between Washington and Tehran. Specifically, in the framework memorandum, Iran committed not to develop or seek to acquire nuclear weapons. According to the authors of the report, the documented work may indicate a possible violation of these agreements even before U.S. President Donald Trump declared the deal “null and void” and resumed strikes on Iranian territory.
At the same time, it is worth noting that official Tehran has not yet commented on reports of a possible restoration of the damaged facilities. Similarly, there is no confirmation from independent international organizations regarding the purpose of the construction work visible in the satellite images. Currently, the information is based on an analysis of satellite images and the conclusions of journalists and experts published by CNN.
