Tucker Carlson apologized for supporting Trump and called him disgusting

American media personality Tucker Carlson has publicly apologized to Americans for promoting Donald Trump during the election, stating that he feels guilty for misleading people. 

During a conversation with his brother on The Tucker Carlson Show, he emphasized that his involvement in the president’s election has been a source of prolonged remorse for him. Carlson stressed that responsibility for current events in the country lies not only with politicians but also with those who shaped public opinion in favor of the current administration.

The reason for the sharp shift in position was Carlson’s disagreement with the White House’s foreign policy, particularly regarding U.S. and Israeli military strikes on Iran. The host called Trump’s behavior repugnant on every level and accused him of actions that could constitute war crimes. Earlier, due to similar criticism, the U.S. president officially expelled Carlson and a number of other conservative bloggers from the MAGA movement.

Donald Trump himself, in response to the criticism, called Carlson a person with a low IQ who lost his bearings after being fired from Fox News. The media figure, in turn, noted that signs of the president’s poor character traits were evident earlier, but his supporters deliberately ignored them. Carlson is currently attempting to distance the conservative movement from Trump’s policies, which he considers a betrayal of campaign promises.

American journalist Tucker Carlson may be designated a foreign agent in the U.S., and the Central Intelligence Agency is reportedly preparing a request regarding his possible criminal prosecution. According to the journalist himself, the basis for the charges is his contacts with people in Iran even before the war began.
