Trump called the Democratic Party the main threat to the United States
U.S. President Donald Trump made a sensational statement regarding the domestic political situation in America following a significant shift in the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East.
In his view, following the effective decline of Iranian influence, the greatest threat to the country now comes from an opposition political force within the United States itself.
Trump emphasized that external enemies are taking a back seat to internal challenges, which he attributes to the actions of his political opponents.
“Now, following Iran’s demise, America’s greatest enemy is the radical left, the utterly incompetent Democratic Party,” the U.S. president stressed in his post.
As a reminder, Trump hinted at the end of the war against Iran, but this should not be taken at face value.
Trump is also negotiating with Japan regarding its participation in the war against Iran.
