Trump shares poll showing Netanyahu bloc’s lead in Israel — Jerusalem Post
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday shared on Truth Social a Newsmax article about a poll by Israel’s Channel 13. It predicts that in Israel’s upcoming election, the bloc led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could win 54 seats, while the change bloc would receive 52. The Jerusalem Post reports.
Channel 13 poll results
According to the poll, the Yashar party led by Gadi Eisenkot was in the lead with a projected 22 seats. Netanyahu’s Likud party, according to the same survey, could receive 18 seats. At the same time, Netanyahu’s bloc would total 54 seats.
In August, Trump told Fox News that he could support someone in the Israeli election, but believed it would be more appropriate for him not to interfere. Israeli media also reported that people close to Netanyahu’s political rivals — Gadi Eisenkot and Naftali Bennett — had, through acquaintances, donors and political allies, conveyed requests to Trump’s circle to remain neutral.

Other polls
Five polls published last week showed an ambiguous situation. A KAN News poll gave Yashar 24 seats and Likud 20; both blocs received 52 seats each. According to Channel 12, Yashar would receive 23 seats and Likud 20. Channel 14 projected 64 seats for the right-wing bloc, while a Channel 16 poll gave Netanyahu’s bloc 52 seats against 53 for the opposition.
On average across the five surveys, Yashar received 22.2 seats and Likud 21.2. Elections in Israel are scheduled for October 27.
