Trump Warns Iran of Consequences if Peace Deal Collapses – Reuters
The U.S. president announced that negotiations with Tehran have reached their final stage, warning that he is prepared to launch new military strikes if no compromise is reached.

Six weeks after the suspension of the U.S. operation “Epic Fury,” negotiations to end the war have shown little progress, prompting Trump to nearly order new strikes. In turn, Iran’s chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, accused Washington of preparing new attacks and threatened retaliatory strikes outside the Middle East.

As a reminder, Washington presented Tehran with five conditions for resuming dialogue, including the transfer of 400 kilograms of enriched uranium to the U.S. In return, the U.S. is also insisting on a series of additional restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program and a cessation of hostilities.
