U.S. President Donald Trump took his first official flight on an aircraft gifted to the United States by Qatar. The new presidential aircraft was used for a trip to North Dakota.

According to USA Today, the aircraft gifted by Qatar is valued at approximately $400 million. Before entering service, the aircraft underwent modernization to meet the security requirements for a presidential aircraft.
The transfer of the aircraft sparked heated debate in the U.S. Representatives of the Democratic Party stated that accepting such an expensive gift from a foreign government without congressional approval could violate the Constitution. Criticism also came from some Republicans, who expressed concerns about ethics and security.
