U.S. President Donald Trump stated that negotiations between Washington and Tehran are proceeding “at a rapid pace,” despite media reports of a possible suspension. He did not provide further details regarding the substance of the talks, but emphasized that the dialogue between the parties is ongoing.

On Monday, June 1, the U.S. president stated that “negotiations with Iran are proceeding at a rapid pace.”
His statement came after the Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that Iran had allegedly suspended talks with the U.S. on a potential peace agreement in protest against Israel’s actions against Lebanon.
After that, he stated that the Iranian side had not informed him of the suspension of negotiations with Washington, and he also spoke with the Israeli prime minister, following which he announced that Israeli troops who had gone to Lebanon were “already returning.”
