Trump stated that the U.S. did not decline during his presidency
U.S. President Donald Trump shared details of his conversation with Xi Jinping and commented on claims regarding the decline of the United States. According to the American leader, the country’s problems were linked to the actions of the previous administration, whereas over the past year and a half, in his view, the U.S. has once again strengthened its position and become one of the world’s most powerful nations.
This was reported with reference to Trump’s post on Truth Social.
The American leader commented on recent remarks by the Chinese leader. Xi Jinping called the U.S. a “declining nation.” Trump considers this assessment fair regarding the past period. He emphasized the catastrophic consequences of Democratic policies.
"When President Xi very elegantly called the United States a country that may be in decline, he was referring to the immense damage we have suffered over the four years of Sleepy Joe Biden and the Biden administration, and in that sense, he was 100% right," Trump said.
What Biden Did Wrong, According to Trump
The current White House chief detailed the problems that, in his words, were destroying America. He listed domestic and foreign challenges. The list turned out to be long.
The main factors behind the decline, according to Trump:
Open borders and uncontrolled migration.
High taxes on citizens and businesses.
The promotion of gender ideology and the participation of transgender individuals in women’s sports.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.
Terrible trade deals and rampant crime.
