The IDF is preparing to resume the war against Iran following the collapse of negotiations

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it has placed its troops on high alert following the collapse of the U.S.-Iran negotiations in Pakistan.

This was reported by The Times of Israel.

Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir has officially ordered units to prepare for the immediate resumption of active combat operations.

The situation escalated after a two-week ceasefire, brokered by Islamabad, proved unsustainable.

Israel’s military leadership is considering scenarios not only for its own offensive but also the possibility of a surprise strike from Tehran, which has significantly raised the alert level across the country.

Representatives of Israel’s Defense Ministry note that the previous pause in hostilities ended “too soon.”

According to the Israeli side, insufficient pressure was exerted on Iran to force it to halt the development of its nuclear program and ballistic missiles, which pose a direct threat to the region.

Tel Aviv is currently awaiting a final decision from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the future strategy in the conflict.

It is believed that the scale of the future operation—aimed at destroying Iran’s energy infrastructure and nuclear facilities—will depend on the White House’s position.

The IDF’s plan calls for a series of powerful strikes designed to force Tehran to abandon its aggressive intentions by critically damaging its economic potential.

The command has already initiated the necessary combat training procedures to ensure an immediate response to any changes on the front lines.

The U.S. and Israel have temporarily removed Iranian officials from their “hit lists”

Iran’s president says the world is outraged by the actions of the U.S. and Israel.
