The IDF will launch criminal investigations into two attacks in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it will launch criminal investigations into two high-profile attacks on Palestinians during the war in Gaza. According to Deutsche Welle English, the investigations will focus on the deaths of five-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab in 2024 and 15 Palestinian medical personnel in 2025.
In a report published on Wednesday, the Israeli military said it had reviewed 150 incidents related to the actions of its soldiers in the Palestinian enclave. According to the IDF, decisions were made regarding five of these cases.

The military noted that the cases involving the deaths of Hind Rajab and 15 emergency medical workers will be subject to criminal investigation. A caption accompanying a photo in a DW article states that Hind Rajab was killed along with her family during an attack by Israeli forces in January 2024.
At the same time, the IDF stated that it would not open criminal investigations into three other attacks that resulted in the deaths of workers from the humanitarian organizations World Central Kitchen and Doctors Without Borders.
