The IDF has urged Iranians to avoid the railway — The Times of Israel
The Israel Defense Forces has officially warned Iranian citizens of the dangers of using rail transport until the evening of Tuesday, April 7.
This was reported by The Times of Israel.
Israeli military leadership emphasizes the risks to the lives of civilians who will be near transportation infrastructure.
IDF Spokesperson Lt. Col. Kamal Penhasi addressed the Iranian people directly in Persian. He urged people to change their plans and refrain from traveling by train throughout the country due to potential military operations.
“Dear citizens, for your safety, we ask that you refrain from using trains and traveling by train throughout Iran from now until 9:00 p.m. Iranian time,” Penhasi stated.
Military command emphasizes that the railway network is currently a high-risk area.
Representatives of the Israeli army are trying to minimize civilian casualties by warning in advance of the possible consequences of being near infrastructure facilities.
“Your presence on trains and near railroad tracks puts your life at risk,” the lieutenant colonel added in his urgent appeal.
The situation in the region has escalated following a series of aggressive actions by the Iranian regime.
As a reminder, Israel reported a critical shortage of missiles for defense against Iran.
Israel also shelled the southern suburbs of Beirut again.
