IDF detains two suspects in the West Bank — Jerusalem Post
In Israel, in the West Bank, the Duvdevan unit detained two people in Qabatiya who, according to the IDF, were preparing an attack in the near future. The operation took place during Yom Kippur, Jerusalem Post reported, citing the Israeli military.
Operations in several localities
In Beit Ur al-Tahta, soldiers from the Duvdevan unit found a machine tool for manufacturing weapons, two Carlo-type firearms and other weapons.
In the village of Biddu, in the Binyamin Brigade sector, the IDF mapped the home of a person whom the military called a terrorist. During a separate operation in the village, soldiers searched about 100 locations, questioned 90 suspects and found a hunting rifle.

Materials for explosives
The Paratroopers' reconnaissance unit operated in the Menashe Brigade sector. There, soldiers questioned suspects, detained wanted individuals and found materials intended for manufacturing explosives. Units of the Ephraim Brigade conducted operations in villages in their sector and questioned more than 80 suspects.
About a month earlier, Duvdevan also conducted an operation in Qabatiya. At that time, soldiers detained a group of five people whom the IDF and Shin Bet called a terrorist group and said was preparing an attack on civilians and security personnel. According to the agencies, all five were detained less than 10 minutes after the soldiers entered the area, and an M16 rifle and other weapons were found during searches of their homes.
