The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States rose by another cent on Monday, reaching $4.12.

CNN reports this.

According to the latest data from AAA, retail fuel prices have jumped 38% since the start of full-scale hostilities in Iran.

Last week, the average price crossed the psychological threshold of $4 per gallon for the first time since 2022.

Since March 1, prices have risen almost every day, with the exception of just three days when the drop was so negligible that, when rounded to the nearest cent, the price remained unchanged.

“Overall, the average price rose over the week, and this trend continues. The declines over the last three days were almost imperceptible fractions of a penny, leaving prices unchanged when rounded,” note energy market analysts.

As a reminder, as of April 6, 2026, the largest gas station chains in Ukraine updated their fuel prices.

Additionally, the world’s largest oil supplier lost half of its exports.
