Turkey has denied claims that it intends to intervene in the war on Iran's side

The Turkish Presidential Administration has officially denied reports that the country plans to enter into an armed conflict in the Middle East on Iran’s side or to launch an invasion of Lebanon.

The Center for Combating Disinformation at the Communications Directorate has labeled such posts on social media as disinformation that does not correspond to reality. The statement emphasizes that Ankara has maintained a position of neutrality since the beginning of the conflict and is not a party to the war.

Currently, the Turkish government is focused on active diplomatic efforts to bring an end to hostilities as soon as possible and establish lasting peace in the region. Official Ankara notes that its peacekeeping efforts and commitment to preventing the spread of the war are viewed positively by all participants in the process, including the warring parties. Thus, Turkey continues to act as a mediator, rejecting any scenarios involving direct military participation in the current conflict. This strategy aims to de-escalate tensions and protect national interests without involving the armed forces in the regional conflict.

Turkey has called on the UN to strengthen its role in the Middle East.

The attack on the Altura tanker carrying Russian oil was deliberate, according to Turkey.

An attack occurred in the Black Sea on the Turkish tanker Altura, which was transporting crude oil from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Sibiga also noted that security in the Black Sea is possible after the liberation of Crimea.
