Turkish BIST 100 index falls 2.79% — Anadolu Agency
In Türkiye, the key BIST 100 stock index ended trading on Wednesday at 11,947.18 points, down 2.79% from the previous close. Anadolu Agency reports.
Trading dynamics
The index started the session at 12,206.89 points and lost 343.40 points compared with Tuesday's market close. During the day, the BIST 100's lowest level was 11,926.04 points, while its highest was 12,295.80 points.

Some 86 indices lost value, while 13 ended trading in positive territory. Daily transaction volume reached 150.5 billion Turkish lira, or $3.07 billion. The total value of the index stood at 11.39 trillion lira.
Exchange rates and commodities
As of 18:20 local time, the US dollar stood at 49.0175 lira, the euro at 55.7090 lira, and the British pound at 65.0600 lira. Gold traded at $4,160.15 per ounce, while Brent crude futures stood at $98.90.
