Belarus has announced mobilization drills and a review of military registration records

Belarus has begun so-called “mobilization drills, which involve notifying those subject to military service and verifying their registration data. 

According to the Belarusian Ministry of Defense, the notification of citizens in the reserve began on June 20 in the Grodno region.

Approximately 2,000 conscripts are scheduled to be summoned for verification.

On June 21, a preliminary assembly point for conscripts began operations, where data verification is being conducted.

It is noted that the process will take place in several stages and is expected to be completed by July 2.

As part of the exercises, conscripts are being called in for a headcount, their registration data is being verified, and the readiness of the mobilization registration system is being tested.

Officially, these activities are referred to as scheduled mobilization exercises.

This was reported by the country’s Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that international experts found no evidence of Ukraine’s involvement in the attack on a bus in Belarus, which the Russian side had previously alleged. According to the head of state, this incident may be part of an attempt to drag Belarus into the war.
