UK man admits drugging and raping his wife
In Stockport, Manchester, United Kingdom, a man in his 60s admitted that he drugged and raped his wife for more than two decades. This is stated in a France 24 English review, which cites Metro.
Charges involving other men
The man is also accused of inviting other men to rape his wife between 2018 and 2025. In addition to him, 13 other men aged between 28 and 73 are accused in the case of involvement in rape.
According to Metro, the man burst into tears while pleading guilty. France 24 notes that the events took place in Stockport, a city with a population of about 100,000 people.

Investigation in Austria
France 24 also reports on a separate investigation in Wels, Austria. According to People Magazine, a 39-year-old woman died there after alleged sexual violence by her husband.
The deceased woman's 51-year-old husband claims that the death occurred as a result of an accident during sex. He is being investigated on suspicion of drugging and raping his wife, as well as inviting other men to sexually assault her. Wels has a population of about 65,000 people.
