Beijing to host Global Sustainable Transport Forum
China’s Ministry of Transport will hold the Global Sustainable Transport Forum in Beijing on September 22–23, 2026. The event is intended to promote the formation of international consensus and the development of global cooperation in the transport sector, ECNS reports.
Discussion topics
The forum will consider five areas: deepening global initiatives, strengthening the connectivity of transport systems, prioritizing green transport, supporting transformation through artificial intelligence, and ensuring universal access to services.
The event aims to promote the creation of a safe, efficient, environmentally friendly, inclusive, and sustainable transport system.

Political leaders, transport ministers, heads of international organizations, diplomats, company executives, and academics are expected to participate.
