Finland expects sun and up to 15°C at the start of the week — YLE News

Finland is forecast to see mostly dry and autumnally warm weather at the start of the week, while the likelihood of precipitation will increase in the country toward the end of the week. Temperatures throughout the week will mostly remain between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.

Monday with rain in the south

On Monday, drier weather is expected to set in across central and northern Finland after Sunday’s rain and storm. Brief showers are possible in the south, with thunderstorms in some places. At the same time, sunshine may appear in many areas between periods of precipitation.

Temperatures of around 10 degrees Celsius are expected in the north of the country and approximately 15 degrees Celsius in the south. This was reported by YLE News, citing meteorologist Aleksi Lohtander.

Dry weather on Tuesday

On Tuesday, the influence of a high-pressure system will strengthen across the country, bringing dry weather throughout Finland. Sunny spells are forecast in some places, while temperatures will remain at approximately Monday’s level.

Light precipitation is possible in the east and north on Wednesday, although sunny weather is expected across a large part of the country. From Thursday, the likelihood of rain will increase nationwide, but temperatures at the end of the week will remain approximately at the level seen at the start of the week.
