Ninani Group holds annual health day in Ghana — MyJoyOnline
In Ghana, Ninani Group employees took part in an annual wellness programme that included a walk in the Ibri Mountains, football matches, races, table tennis and other games. The event brought together employees from the group’s six marketing communications agencies.
A break from office work
Employees of Results Advertising, Innova DDB, Interactive Digital, Touchpoint Magna Carta, Brand Alert and P2P joined the programme. As MyJoyOnline reports, the organisers viewed the event not only as a sports competition but also as an opportunity for colleagues to step away from their daily office work, socialise and focus on their physical condition.
Justin Antwi-Darkwah, Chief Operating Officer of Results Advertising, said the initiative is intended to allow employees to take a break from their workload, build interaction and spend time together. He also stressed the importance of maintaining physical fitness for professionals who spend many hours working at desks.

Preparation and plans
According to Antwi-Darkwah, preparations for the event began several months earlier. Employees trained, tried to maintain sufficient water intake and follow a healthier diet.
Akosua Aworae Apau, a representative of the group’s HR unit, said that it is particularly important for the marketing communications sector to find time for physical activity, as employees mostly work in offices. This year’s activities began with a wellness walk in the Ibri Mountains, followed by football matches and other competitions.
The programme has been running for about five to six years. Ninani Group plans to continue supporting and expanding it, including by involving some corporate clients in future events. Participants in this year’s event were provided with water and Myst Water and Beta Malt beverages.
