A list of undesirable artists has been released in Moldova: Oleg Vinnik is among those on the list
The Moldovan Ministry of Culture has published a list of artists from post-Soviet countries whose concerts and performances are not recommended to be held within the country. The list includes 26 performers, among them Ukrainian singer Oleg Vinnik and a number of Russian artists.
The list was compiled following requests from state cultural institutions and concert agencies, which were submitted to the ministry after a directive issued by the Ministry of Culture in February 2026.
The document states that organizers of cultural events must give advance notice of their intention to invite artists from abroad, particularly from post-Soviet states and countries that the international community has condemned for armed aggression.
The Ministry emphasized that the list is advisory in nature and will be updated based on new requests. At the same time, organizers were warned that invited artists on the list may be denied entry into Moldova, which could lead to the cancellation of events and reputational damage.
In addition to Oleg Vinnik, the list includes Klava Koka, Morgenstern, DJ Smash, Igor Nikolaev, Dmitry Malikov, Yegor Creed, the bands “Leningrad” and “Ruki Vverkh,” "Tatu," Basta, Leonid Agutin, and others.
Earlier, singer Oleg Vinnik stated that he does not support the ban on the Russian language in Ukraine, after which his remarks sparked a wave of criticism on social media.
