A man was arrested in Moscow for walking across Red Square with a goat
A Moscow resident was arrested and detained for five days after walking across Red Square with a goat. According to Russian media reports, the man was near Lenin’s Mausoleum and did not respond to law enforcement officers’ demands.
The court found that on the evening of July 18, Magomed Magomedov used profanity on Red Square and walked his goat in an area not designated for that purpose. He was charged with petty hooliganism.
According to the case file, the man was standing with the goat near Lenin’s Mausoleum and did not respond to the demands of law enforcement officers. He rudely and aggressively refused to leave the square, and during his arrest and transport to the police station, he resisted: he pushed the officers away and tried to break free.
The man admitted his guilt in court, stating that he simply wanted to take a photo and leave.
