In the Netherlands, explosives sat on a supermarket shelf for four days

In the Dutch city of Enschede, an explosive device sat on a supermarket shelf for several days before detonating.

This was reported by NOS.

The incident occurred in mid-March, but law enforcement officials have only now released the details.

According to journalists, the explosive device had been sitting in the store for nearly four days. Surveillance cameras captured footage of an unknown person leaving the device on a shelf on March 13, and the explosion occurred shortly after midnight on March 17.

The morning after the incident, employees discovered significant damage—the premises were littered with broken glass and damaged merchandise.

Police noted that the situation posed a serious threat to visitors, as the store had been operating normally for several days.

The perpetrator’s motives have not yet been determined. According to preliminary data, the man may have arrived from Germany, crossing the border near Glanerburg. The search for him is ongoing.

A large-scale evacuation was carried out in the German city of Koblenz after a World War II-era bomb was discovered.

An alarm was sounded at Chisinau Airport following a bomb threat, and passengers and staff were evacuated from the building.
