A helicopter used for liming forest soil crashed in the federal state of Saxony. The pilot was killed.
The accident occurred in a forest near the town of Zemtal in the Ore Mountains. The helicopter caught fire after the crash.
Only the pilot was on board. There were no other casualties.
The causes of the crash are currently being investigated by the criminal police and the Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation.
