In Pakistan, 18-year-old woman suspected of killing sister over TikTok followers
In the Pakistani city of Gujranwala, an 18-year-old woman is suspected of killing her 15-year-old sister, Manahil. According to Dawn, the sisters argued over the alleged appropriation of followers on TikTok. The injured girl was taken to hospital, where she died from significant blood loss.
Suspect detained
Ladhawala-Waraich police in Gujranwala said they detained the deceased girl's older sister and seized a kitchen knife. Law enforcement officers claim that the knife was used in the killing. According to the publication, the father handed his 18-year-old daughter over to police.
The deceased girl's father, Abdul Shakur, told police that on the evening of September 1, he was receiving guests on the ground floor of the house when he heard screams from the upper floor. There, he found Manahil covered in blood after she was wounded with a kitchen knife.

Cause of the argument
According to the father, the sisters were arguing over financial matters. At the same time, police and local residents said that both girls were active on TikTok and were trying to earn money there because the family was in a difficult financial situation.
