In Pakistan, a woman reportedly killed her husband's other wife and died by suicide
In Pakistan's Charsadda, a woman allegedly killed another wife of her husband during a domestic dispute and later died by suicide, police said. The incident occurred in the Shabqadar area, in the locality of Daryab Korona.
Investigation into the deaths of two women
As Dawn reports, both women were married to Noor Taj, who works in Saudi Arabia. According to a preliminary police report, Taj Begum and Jamila argued at home over a family matter.
Police said that Jamila killed Begum with an axe and then jumped into a well on the house premises. The family said it did not intend to take legal action in the case. Law enforcement officers launched an inquiry under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to establish the circumstances of the deaths.

Separate killing in Charsadda
The body of Rab Nawaz, who had been considered missing for several days, was also found in the Ghargi Kaka Khel area. According to police, unidentified individuals left the body near his home and fled. The man was a resident of Peshawar but was living in the locality of Godam Korona in Rajar at the time of his death.
The victim's widow, Salma, told police that her husband had left home several days earlier and had not returned. She named Ejaz, a resident of the Shah Dhand area in Peshawar, as a murder suspect due to a longstanding enmity. Police registered a case under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code, are investigating and trying to detain the suspect.
