A court in Wrocław has ordered the detention for three months of an 18-year-old Ukrainian citizen suspected of assaulting a 30-year-old woman.
According to prosecutor Mateusz Kuchinski of the Wrocław District Prosecutor’s Office, the pretrial detention was ordered due to the risk of the suspect fleeing, as he has no permanent residence. The young man denies the charges, but if the allegations are confirmed, he faces life in prison.

In Wrocław, Poland, law enforcement officers detained an 18-year-old Ukrainian citizen accused of stabbing a local woman. According to police, the incident occurred on the evening of August 1 near the entrance to an apartment building. The attacker stabbed the woman several times and fled the scene.
