Wave of Sabotage and Cyberattacks Hits Poland — Military Raises Alarm

He stressed that these incidents are part of a coordinated strategy designed to probe the country’s defenses and gradually push it into a “pre-war” environment.

According to him, hybrid aggression now includes arson, rail disruptions, and cyber intrusions, often executed through intermediaries to obscure the origin of the attacks. Polish security services report a systematic escalation, signaling a deliberate attempt to destabilize the state.
Kukuła emphasized the need for stronger defensive measures — from improving cyber resilience to countering clandestine groups and preparing the military for heightened threat levels. He compared Poland’s current situation to early warning stages observed in countries that later faced direct aggression.
