A truck carrying U.S. military personnel overturned in Poland; eight soldiers were injured
An accident involving U.S. military personnel occurred in Poland’s West Pomeranian Voivodeship. A truck transporting U.S. soldiers to a training ground near Drawa Pomorska veered off the road and overturned.

The accident occurred on the road between the towns of Studnica and Czertynia.
Eight American soldiers were injured in the accident. One of them is in serious condition—he was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Gryfice.
“The soldiers were on their way to training; they were sitting in the back of the truck, on benches. The vehicle’s right wheel hit the shoulder, and it rolled onto its side,” said Major Tomasz Zygmunt, a press officer for the Military Police in Szczecin.
Five ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
According to Natalia Dorokhovich, a representative of the provincial ambulance station, six victims were hospitalized, and their condition is stable.
The preliminary cause of the accident is believed to be driver negligence. The Military Gendarmerie noted that the accident occurred on a straight stretch of road under good weather conditions.
Polish law enforcement is currently conducting an investigation and interviewing witnesses to the accident.
