Three Poles stood trial for assaulting a Ukrainian
A trial has begun in the city of Radom, Poland, in the case of the brutal beating of a Ukrainian citizen. Three local residents have appeared in court, accused of involvement in the attack on the Ukrainian man.
The incident occurred on December 19, 2025, in one of Radom’s residential neighborhoods.
Yuriy L., a 41-year-old Ukrainian citizen, found himself in a store after being accused of stealing beer. The saleswomen locked the man inside and demanded compensation. They then told an acquaintance about the situation, and he gathered a group of people.
The men attacked the Ukrainian man on the street and brutally beat him.
According to the prosecutor’s office, during the attack they shouted offensive slogans at the Ukrainian man and demanded that he return to Ukraine.
Among the defendants is a former MMA fighter
One of the defendants is former MMA fighter Alex R.
According to investigators, he kicked the Ukrainian man in the head, posing an immediate threat to his life and health.
After the attack, the victim suffered severe head injuries. Two days later, his condition worsened, so he was taken to a hospital in Radom. There, he underwent surgery and was subsequently placed in the intensive care unit.
Alex R. has pleaded guilty. He has been remanded in custody pending the pretrial investigation. He faces 3 to 20 years in prison for the alleged crime.
The prosecutor’s office reported that law enforcement was unable to identify the other participants in the assault.
The indictment in the case was filed with the court back in April. The trial is currently underway.
The saleswomen also found themselves in the dock
In the same case, charges were filed against two saleswomen—Marta U. and Anna G.
