Explosions were heard in Poland; emergency responders are investigating the cause
In the Polish city of Łódź, two loud noises resembling explosions were heard around 11:40 a.m. There is currently no official information regarding an emergency. According to preliminary reports, the noise may have been caused by military aircraft flying eastward.
Around 11:40 a.m. in Łódź, local residents heard two loud noises that sounded like explosions.
The fire department confirmed that its personnel also heard the noise. However, emergency responders received no reports of actual explosions or an emergency.
“No specific reports were received,” said Jerzy Pawlak, spokesperson for the provincial office of the State Fire Service in Łódź.
According to the latest information, the explosion-like sound may have been caused by military aircraft flying eastward.
Meanwhile, firefighters continue to investigate the circumstances and the source of the loud noises.
In a comment to Fakt, Jerzy Pawlak emphasized that emergency responders also heard the noise but currently have no confirmation of any emergency.
“At this point, we have no information indicating any emergency,” added the fire department spokesperson.
There are currently no official reports of explosions, damage, or casualties in Łódź.
