A Ukrainian man has been charged with attempted murder in Wrocław, Poland
The Wrocław Prosecutor’s Office has charged an 18-year-old Ukrainian citizen with the attempted murder of a 30-year-old woman. According to “European Truth,” citing RMF24, the incident in question is an attack that took place on August 1 in Wrocław. Following the incident, the young man was detained by law enforcement.
Jakub Dłubacz, a spokesperson for the Wrocław Prosecutor’s Office, informed journalists of the charges. If convicted, the 18-year-old suspect could face life in prison.

According to the prosecutor’s office spokesperson, the young man has not admitted guilt. It is also not yet known whether the prosecutor’s office will file a motion for his pretrial detention. Among the circumstances that could justify such a motion, the severity of the potential punishment was cited.
It was previously reported that the attack targeted a Polish citizen. The Consulate General of Ukraine in Wrocław condemned the incident.
