President Navrotsky's popularity has declined in Poland
Polish President Karol Nawrocki remains popular among the majority of citizens, although the head of state’s approval rating has declined slightly. At the same time, more than half of Poles view him favorably.
Fifty-one percent of Poles surveyed spoke favorably of Karol Nawrocki. Compared to the previous poll, this represents a 5-percentage-point decline.
“After President Karol Nawrocki’s highest popularity ratings since the beginning of his term, recorded in July, the percentage of positive assessments dropped noticeably in August, while critical assessments rose slightly," reported CBOS, adding that 40% of survey participants expressed negative views about the head of state. This represents an increase of 3 percentage points.
The survey was conducted August 20–30 using a mixed-mode methodology on a representative, named sample of Polish residents aged 18 and older.
This is evidenced by the results of the CBOS survey, according to Polsat News.
We previously reported that Nawrocki remains the leader in terms of public trust in Poland, but his approval rating is declining — Onet.
As a reminder, Nawrocki announced a constitutional procedure regarding Poland’s participation in Trump’s Peace Council.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki also stated that Russia has been and remains the main threat to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe for centuries.
