Seoul will host the annual HIT Forum of The Korea Herald on September 8, focusing on South Korea’s stock market opportunities and strengthening its international competitiveness. The event will take place at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry building in the center of the capital.
Forum theme
The forum will be held under the theme “Korea Premium: Connecting Korean Opportunities with Global Capital.” Participants will discuss how the country can overcome its long-standing market discount, attract foreign investment and ensure sustainable growth of the capital market.
The first keynote address will be delivered by Lee In-hyung, vice president of the Korea Capital Market Institute. He will speak about market innovations and Value-Up initiatives, which, according to the organizers’ plan, are intended to facilitate the transition from the “Korea discount” to the “Korea premium.”
