Seven military personnel injured in explosion in Sweden — Anadolu Agency
In Sweden, seven military personnel were taken to hospital after an incident at the Kraks military training area near the city of Karlsborg. According to Anadolu Agency, the incident occurred on Thursday in the southwest of the country.
Condition of the injured
Swedish Television SVT reported that five men are in intensive care. Their condition is assessed as serious but not life-threatening. Two other military personnel sustained less severe injuries.
The Swedish Armed Forces said the injured are being treated, including for shrapnel wounds. All seven are men aged between 20 and 30. They are paid military personnel, not conscripts.

Investigation into the incident
Swedish media reported that the explosion at the training area occurred during the clearance of old unexploded ordnance. However, the Swedish Armed Forces did not confirm this version.
Police are investigating the case as an industrial accident. Rescue workers, medics and military personnel worked at the scene.
