Singapore unveils mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival
In Singapore, hotels, restaurants and confectioneries have unveiled mooncakes with tea, fruit, custard and unconventional fillings, as well as gift sets, for the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival. Channel NewsAsia reports.
Tea flavours and snow skin
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel offered baked mooncakes with Da Hong Pao tea, cranberries and golden raisins for S$94 for four pieces. Hua Ting restaurant presented a baked mooncake with almonds and dancong tea, while Carlton Hotel Singapore added a Hong Kong milk tea-flavoured filling to its mini snow-skin mooncakes.
Starbucks Singapore's set of eight items includes osmanthus oolong, yuzu oolong, pandan with osmanthus, and caramel coffee with macadamia flavours. TWG Tea introduced snow-skin mooncakes, including ones with lotus paste infused with Tie Guan Yin tea, candied ginger, gula melaka palm sugar and coconut cream with white chocolate.
Raffles Singapore added snow-skin mooncakes with whisky and smoked Lapsang Souchong tea, as well as matcha and raspberry truffle, to its range. The St Regis Singapore presented options with cranberry paste and balsamic strawberry truffle, lychee with pine nuts, and pandan with coconut flakes.

Gift and unconventional sets
Andaz Singapore is selling a collector's set with a LEGLE porcelain teapot and cups. Mandarin Oriental Singapore released the limited-edition Moonlit Elegance set, created in collaboration with Shanghai Tang: the box contains six mini mooncakes, a pair of dessert forks and porcelain saucers.
The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore offers mooncakes in textured leather cosmetic bags in three designs. The fillings include lychee, rose, red bean paste and macadamia nuts, as well as rose mini snow-skin mooncakes.
Custard and traditional options
Four Seasons Hotel Singapore added bird's nest strands to a mooncake's custard filling. Capella Singapore included a baked mooncake with a pineapple custard centre in a white lotus paste filling in its first collection.
Among Teochew-style products, Thye Moh Chan introduced a new item with red dates and longan, while Crystal Jade Golden Palace brought back its flaky mooncake with a liquid salted egg yolk filling. French bakery PAUL also offered Moon Tarts in genmaicha mochi, yuzu with sesame, maple with pecan and double chocolate flavours.
